I am running a 6 sessions online workshop on self-portraiture in English every Thursday from the 20th of May until the 24th of June.
It focuses on visual arts as a way of seeing and being seen through the body and the different forms that corporeality can have.
We will look at contemporary practice and the evolution of the use of the body and self-portraiture in visual arts and performance practice.
Participants will develop a method through research, focus on goals, and technical and aesthetic choices that will allow creating a photographic/video project based on self-portraiture.
The body, sound, writing, memory and movement will be at the centre of our work.
One of the sessions will be held with Dr Manuela Stucchi, Psychologist, Psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
